Okay, Kim was asking me to come up with some suggestions for magical items for an RP we're running. I started spewing out ideas. I thought a lot of them were really good, and had the potential for a lot of humor.

Most of the stuff I came up with was either already thought of, or too specific. However, I thought they were funny enough to share them with you. Aren't you just the lucky one?

Okay, lucky oneS. Happy now?

So, continuing onward. This is a list of the stuff I came up with...

burnttiger: A magic scroll. It changes every time it's read. Does little, basically harmless stuff. Once the person reads it, the magic thing happens.

burnttiger: For instance, it reads in a poem and like...... "What once was lost, now is found, you'll see your toy when you turn around" And then magically there would appear a toy the person lost years and years ago.

burnttiger: Or something like...... "If you wish and if you dare, what you most want to touch, will be made bare" And then whatever that person wants to touch, whether it be someone else, or not, is made bare... buck nekkid. Could cause some interesting reactions.

burnttiger: a magic ring that renders the wearer unable to stop laughing as long as it's on his/her finger

burnttiger: Um, a hair net... You pull it out and it looks like a net, you put it on someone, or try throwing it at them and it grows hair. Long, long, long hair

burnttiger: Um...... An exploding sapphire. Limit 5 to a pack. They explode in confetti.

burnttiger: pop and then the confetti fills the air.

burnttiger: Lust gum... You chew it and you fall madly in lust with the first thing you see. Something clidhe, but funny. Give it to someone else, they fall in lust with someone... Last 12 hours to 4 days, depending on how long you chewed the gum.

burnttiger: Magic wine skin. Turns vinegar into wine

burnttiger: Uh..... how bout a pack of stones... they turn into bread.

burnttiger: Um, snake tent ropes?

burnttiger: Ooooooooohhhh, something to make instant fire.... Or to turn a burp into fire. That would be comical at the least. *smirks*

burnttiger: Chamber pot that says Thank You after receiving the.... stuff.

burnttiger: Sorry, my mind was wandering down the aisle at Spencers for a moment.

burnttiger: A dagger that absorbs blood. For those instances where leaving a trace of blood would set off warnings, or draw animals.

burnttiger: unwanted animals, that is.

burnttiger: Something that would grant horses/riders flight.

so, those were a few of my ideas. I thought they were great. But only a few of them passed muster. *chuckles*

So, I was wondering... if you could create any magical thing... what would you create, and what would it do? Would it be funny? Would it be a weapon? Would it be something for survival?

I'm just curious.

AND, since I'm thinking about the RP, I"d better get on over there and post. *chuckles* If you'd like to read the story we've got going so far, you're welcome to. It's quite interesting, in my opinion.

Anyway, have a gander at that if you so desire. And, post messages to my message board in regard to what magical items you would create. Should be interesting to see some of the ideas.
