Well, a brief update here for you folks still hanging in, expecting me to be semi-dependable. *chuckles*

I got a phone call from Preston tonight. He's doing well, he's happy and working on his music nearly full time. He spent a long time in Florida, but finally moved back to Durham, North Carolina.

He has put together a band that sounds great. They work well and play in sync with each other. He's really excited about it.

Also, they are going to be competing in a contest hosted by a local company. He thinks they've really got a good shot at winning this contest.

I ask all'y'all to send a special prayer out, well wishes too. The contest is in a week and a half, on Tuesday. GO PRESTON!!!

He's working construction during the days and working on the band at night. He doesn't have internet access at this time, but when he does, he'll be saying hello to all the folks he's missed.

A special hello goes out to Bob, Bill and Jessica. (You three will have Emails sent out to you with your personal messages as soon as I get through with this.)

So, congratulations to Preston for earnestly persuing his dream. I'm so proud of you, my friend.
