The Tangential Chaos of A Child Of God

Still sick, but not as ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ad

I don't like being sick. I must admit, however, that I feel tremendously better today than I did yesterday.

Still haven't smoked. Not gonna either.

The brain seems to hurt a little and I'm not sure if that's due to the cold or to the new sci-fi book I got today. I'm forcing myself to keep reading it in the hopes that the difficult-to-follow grammatical errors will smooth out.

I'm not a fan of Brian Daley so far.

Whoever did the cover art for his book, Fall of the White Ship did a great job cause that's why I bought the book in the first place.

I got another book too, but the second one is more fantasy orriented, if the sci-fi book doesn't pan out in the next chapter or two, I'm going to just call it quits and start the other one. I can't, for the life of me, remember the title to the second one though. Not that that matters much with the fact that my head is now completely made of cotton on the inside.

Yup, just a great big cotton puff between my ears.

naw, it's gotta be more than cotton cause it's heavy.

Anyway, the wracking hold-on-to-the-floor-cause-the-world-is-spinning-out-of-control coughs are gone. Now it's just an irritation. nothing too severe.

I'm still really spacy though, as if you couldn't tell that. My senses are all messed up. My hearing is off and my brain simply isn't functioning the way it's supposed to.

But, I'm going to take yet another dose of Green Death (TM) and most likely by tomorrow the cold/flu/knock-me-out-just-to-kick-me-in-the-head illness thing should be virtually gone.

I am not going to work, however. My boss gave me this crud. The last thing I need is to reinfect her and then have it going as a self-replicating end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it bug.

(can you tell I've been reading Koontz again? *chuckles*)

Yeah, I just recently picked up the second of Koontz's Moonlight Bay novels. For those who don't know, Dean R. Koontz is a horror/suspense writer. Excellent stuff. If you've ever thought that King was just too verbose, check out Koontz. Very good stuff there.

Anyway... I'm going to close this now as there really is nothing I can think about for a long enough time to make any sense out of it whatsoever.

So, sweet sleep to all of you fine folkses and stuff. I'm going to crash out now.
